Tasty Kake has just come out with some new snacks. They sent us the new Kandy Cakes in Lemon and Strawberry for the girls to “taste test”. As soon as the girls saw the boxes they immediately said they wanted to try out the lemon Kandy Cakes.

They munched down on the lemon Kandy Cakes While I was busy cutting the cakes in two so they could see what was inside. They liked the lemon.

But, when they tried the strawberry, they said they liked that the best because it had more flavor. Originally they weren’t going to try the strawberry because lemon just had to be better but amazingly enough, the Strawberry Tasty Kake Kandy Cake won out.

Lemon Kandy Kake Cheesecake Cups

Lemon Kandy Kake Cheesecake Cups


  • Lemon Kandy Kakes
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1 cup confectionary sugar
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 1 jar of lemon curd
  • Whipped cream to top


  1. Combine cream cheese, sugar and whipping cream into large mixing bowl for the “cheesecake” filling.
  2. In a small jar, break up Lemon Kandy Kakes to form the bottom layer, or the “crust”.
  3. Layer on about two spoonfuls of the cheese mixture and one spoonful of the lemon curd.
  4. Top with whipped cream and enjoy!
