So you say you’re having twins, how exciting! It’s almost time for the bundles of joy to arrive so you are planning a Twins Baby Shower. Here are some baby shower food ideas, punch recipes, and decoration ideas to help you make the best Twins Baby Shower ever!
This Twins Baby Shower cake was made at a local bakery but it gives you an idea of what you can do. “Twice the blessings, Twice the fun, Two little miracles instead of one.”
A Twins Baby Shower Punch drink is easy to make. You’ll need a large punch bowl and large ladle. To make the punch above you’ll need, orange sherbet, a bag of frozen strawberries (or fresh strawberries), large bottle (64 oz) of cranberry juice, and 2-liter bottle of Gingerale. First, fill the bowl with all of the cranberry juice, Gingerale, and top with orange sherbet. You can then place the strawberries on top and float two plastic baby ducks on top. If you want to get fancy, the day before, take fresh strawberries that have been cut in half and put them in a round container and freeze them. Then when you are ready to add them to the punch you just run the container under warm water and let the mold of strawberries slide into the punch bowl after you add everything else.
The party punch as shown below substitutes lime sherbet for the strawberries and orange juice for cranberry juice.
This is such a cute idea. Colorful White Chocolate Covered party Pretzel Rods. You will need long pretzel rods, white chocolate chips, food coloring and sprinkles.
Melt milk white chocolate chips in double boiler or in microwave in two separate bowls. If using a microwave just be careful not to burn the chocolate. Melt on high for 30 seconds, stir and repeat until melted. The chips should melt while you are stirring, but if they don’t, continue to microwave for 15 more seconds, then stir again. Add a few drops of red food coloring to one bowl of melted chocolate chips and red and blue food coloring to the other to create pink and purple white chocolate. Stir until completely blended. Dip each pretzel rod about 2/3 of the way up in chocolate. Add sprinkles and place on a tray that has wax paper on it. Let dry for about 24 hours.
A fruit platter is easy to make and also a great option for guests who don’t want sweet or salty party tries. Fill a large metal pant with green grape, red grapes, fresh cut pineapples chunks, fresh strawberries cut on half, and fresh blueberries. You will need a large cantaloupe to make the baby faces. Take the large cantaloupe and peel the outside. Cut the cantaloupe in half and remove the seeds and pulp. Once your fruit tray is complete, take one half of the cantaloupe and use the photo below to add grapes and pineapples pieces to the each cantaloupe half using toothpicks. Add pacifiers to finish your baby trays.
