We received a one-year subscription to test out and help with our review.
From an adult perspective, I think the BYOU Magazine is perfect for girls ages late 7, 8 to maybe age 12. It seems to be geared towards that age girl and may be too young for 13 and older. It is a really nice magazine. It is colorful, has great stories, puzzles, and doesn’t have a lot of ads.
Ava is age 8 and today she just received her first copy. This is what she thinks about the BYOU Magazine:
I liked the BYOU Magazine. I like how it talks about “girl power”. I like learning things and there are facts about things that I didn’t know before. I like giving my opinion and doing quizzes.
BYOU Magazine is available for purchase at byoumagazine.com and also at Amazon.com A one-year subscription to the BYOU Magazine is sent out 6 times a year.
I ordered a one year subscription for my daughter and we never received the magazine. It has been a year and I have contacted the company numerous times. They say they are sending it, but we have yet to receive it. I’ve asked for a refund, but haven’t been contacted yet. I would NOT order anything from this company.
