Duncan Hines has finally solved the problem of making a cake that is too large and sits around because we can’t finish all of it. Introducing the Duncan Hines Perfect Size Cake. We found this at our local Stop and Shop grocery store and bought a box to try it out.
Duncan Hines Perfect Size Cakes come in a special box that includes the baking pan, cake mix,and icing mix. The paper baking pan has written instructions on the bottom.

So, first we empty the cake mix in a large bowl.
Then you break one egg over the bowl and add it to the dry cake mix.
Next, using an electric mixer, mix all of the dry ingredients with the egg and water.
Even little sisters like to help mix the cake batter.
After the cake batter is mixed, make sure to lick all of the deliciousness off of the mixer beaters.
Pop the cake into the oven for about 30 minutes. When it is cooked, let it cool and then press on the back and the cake will pop out of the pan. The bottom of the cake pan will remain on the cake. This actually makes it easier to cut the cake.
While the cake is cooking, you will make the icing with icing packette, water and butter. Once the cake it cooled, ice it and Voila! A perfect chocolate cake, just enough for 2 to 4 people to share with no leftovers!
