The Finest Hours (Walt Disney Studios)

On Feb. 18, 1952, a massive storm splits the SS Pendleton in two, trapping more than 30 sailors inside the tanker’s sinking stern. Engineer Ray Sybert bravely takes charge to organize a strategy for his fellow survivors. As word of the disaster reaches the Coast Guard in Chatham, Mass., Chief Warrant Officer Daniel Cluff orders a daring rescue mission. Despite the ferocious weather, coxswain Bernie Webber takes three men on a lifeboat to try and save the crew against seemingly impossible odds.

Zootopia (Walt Disney Animation Studios)

Pete’s Dragon is an upcoming American live-action-animated fantasy comedy-drama film directed by David Lowery and written by Toby Halbrooks and Lowery, based on a short story by S.S. Field and Seton I.

Queen of Katwe (Walt Disney Studios)

The Queen of Katwe is an upcoming biographical drama film directed by Mira Nair from a screenplay by William Wheeler. The film is about the life of Phiona Mutesi, an Ugandan chess prodigy who becomes a Woman Candidate Master after her performances at World Chess Olympiads The film will be produced by Walt Disney Pictures and ESPN Films, and will be released at an unspecified date in 2016.

Doctor Strange (Marvel)

Doctor Stephen Vincent Strange, best known under his alias Doctor Strange, is a fictional superhero appearing in American comic books published by Marvel Comics. Created by artist Steve Ditko, the character first appeared in Strange Tales #110.

Moana (Walt Disney Animation Studios)

Moana is an upcoming American computer-animated musical fantasy adventure comedy film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios and the 56th film in Disney’s animated features canon. The film is being directed by Ron Clements and John Musker.

Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (Lucasfilm)

The Light Between Oceans (DreamWorks Pictures)

Directed and adapted by Cianfrance (Blue Valentine, The Place Beyond the Pines) from M.L. Stedman’s novel of the same name, Oceans tells the story of a lighthouse keeper and his wife who find a baby and a dead body in a rowboat and decide to raise the child as their own in post-World War I Australia. A lighthouse keeper and his wife living off the coast of Western Australia raise a baby they rescue from an adrift rowboat.
