The Moen Curved Shower Rod Gives You More Shower Space

The last time we stayed in a hotel they had the curved shower curtain and we wanted to get one but thought they were too expensive. This past weekend we were in Lowes, our favorite DIY store, and we saw that they sold the Moen curved shower curtain for a responsible price so we decided to get one.

I was able to install the shower rod easily within 15 minutes. The instructional step-by-step video on from Moen is very helpful. You really should watch it before you try to put the rod up because it will make it much easier for you.

We got the brushed nickel because we didn’t want it to be too shiny. The Moen adjustable, curved shower rod also comes in chrome (shiny) and Old World Bronze (as shown in the picture).

Watch the video Wendy took to see what it looks like in our bathroom. It did not make the bathroom seem smaller on the outside of the shower curtain as we had feared and inside you feel like you have just purchased a whole new shower because of the added space you gain. There is a slight gap when you view it from the inside of the shower but it doesn’t show on the outside and doesn’t have anything to do with the performance of the rod. We also found that the inner plastic liner stayed in fine, just like when we had it on our regular shower rod. We are happy with this new shower curtain rod purchase.

If your shower measurements are off by just a little bit you will have a hard time installing the 5′ or 6′ rods. This one adjusts to fit shower enclosures between 54” and 72″.
